Jack Frost (1934)

Описание к видео Jack Frost (1934)

This isn’t a Disney cartoon, it’s an Ub Iwerks cartoon. But Iwerks was famous for creating Mickey Mouse. This cartoon is in Two-Strip Cinecolor. Because in 1932, Disney signed a contract that if any studio except Disney that uses the Three-Strip Technicolor camera before Fall of 1935 will have the cartoons be in Black & White. Which is why other studios used color in 1934 used Two-Strip Technicolor or Cinecolor cameras. This cartoon shown is not too much of a Christmas cartoon. But it is set in the Wintertime. It went public domain around 1962, despite it being in good condition today. It was distributed by Pat Powers, an owner of Universal that quit Universal in 1928 to work for Disney and Ub Iwerks.
