Xiaokai was born into a lion-dance family in Foshan, Guangdong. Because of this tradition, his grandfather pushed him to learn the art of lion dancing. But Xiaokai never understood why he had to practice and often tried to escape training. One day, however, he encountered a lion spirit that leapt out from a lion's head. The spirit took Xiaokai on a journey through the origins of lion dancing and revealed the family mission carried through generations. From that moment, Xiaokai realized the true importance of cultural heritage.
