In anticipation of #DemocracyWeek2021, EPD is asking our members to answer the pertinent question of "What should like-minded partners focus on to strengthen democracy around the globe?"

In this video, Demo Finland speaks about how inclusion is one of the greatest challenges in democracies worldwide. They remind us that we are #StrongerTogetherwhen democracies enable people to have their voices heard!

The European Partnership for Democracy (EPD) is organizing International Democracy Day as a week of events from the 15-17 September, on the theme 'Stronger Together: Partnerships for supporting democracy.' With a focus on the renewed global democracy agenda, the 2021 Democracy Week will feature an exciting line-up of international speakers from across the democracy spectrum who will speak of their experiences of democracy partnerships, from inter-state cooperation, transnational and trans-sectoral partnerships to local initiatives. This event is organized in collaboration with European Endowment for Democracy (EED), International IDEA, Carnegie Europe, and the European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP).
