This is a lovely 5 mile circular walk in the Derbyshire Dales, Peak District National Park.

The Route:
The route starts at Tideswell Dale Car Park, and you follow the path down through Tideswell Dale down to Litton Mill. From there, you follow the river and walk straight through Litton Mill and down Cramside Wood Nature Reserve to Water-cum-Jolly next to Cressbrook Mill. You then follow the road which bears right and walk up the steep bank to a hair pin bend. Right on the bend follow the footpath which leads you to a field. Following the path walk down into Cressbrook Dale and enjoy the spectacular views. (You can walk a bit further here and walk to Peters Stone, but we chose not to today.) Instead, we crossed over a little bridge and walked up to Litton Mill. It isn't well signposted but if you follow the footpath you'll get there fine! Finally, we walked through the stunning, quaint village of Litton and followed the pavement down through to the main-road which leads to Tideswell. We went left at the road then through a gate into a field which takes you back to the carpark.

If you are thinking of doing this walk here's a few little bits that might be helpful:
