Way back in June of 2021 Tri-State ordered this Mack LR McNeilus ZR, but due to the computer chip shortage it never actually got delivered until January of this year. They had also bought an LR Contender Curotto which has been on route since December of last year, which I have uploaded some clips of but I plan to put the full video out sometime soon. These days their fleet is pretty modernized, as they’ve gotten rid of their MRs, the last 320 left is parted out in the back of the yard, and their last LE McNeilus RL is being borrowed by Lakes Disposal right now but will most likely stay with them or be scrapped if it comes back. I will say though, it’s really cool to see another ASL here, and a ZR at that. I really like how this truck is spec’d too, with a stand up fold back door configuration and the chrome bumper adds a really nice touch. They had the speed of the arm set at a rate that would also allow lid flipping which was cool to watch, and overall I’m really impressed with this truck. I hope you all enjoy the video!
