There are more moons orbiting Saturn than any other planet. 'Titan' is the largest moon of Saturn and the second largest natural satellite in the solar system. Saturn has at least 82 moons, but the actual number may be much higher. The innermost moons are part of Saturn's ring system, and many of the moons have prominent ridges around their equator, where they have accumulated icy material from the rings. Beyond the rings lie Saturn's largest moons, which are hundreds of kilometers across and mostly covered with ice. The inner moons and larger moons all move in the same direction as Saturn's rotation, suggesting they formed at a similar time to the planet.
