This video shows the use of the Bic Kayak Sail in winds of around 20 knots on our Tarpon 140 kayaks. We were sailing at West Lakes, Adelaide South Australia, it is a man made lake around housing development. The sails performed well in the strong wind, we have only used them with light wind in the past. When the water was very choppy it did feel a little unsafe as the chop was coming from all directions, so we decided to pull the sail down and paddle until we were past the worst. Once through the bridge it was calmer and sails went up again. We didnt enjoy the paddle into the head wind back but was something that had to be done. Was definitely good to reach the beach for a rest.
