In this video, we will compare Copperloy's yard ramp to other common ramps. For our first test, a Copperloy ramp, an industry average ramp, and a caster wheel ramp were measured and set to equal starting heights. Then, with synchronized pumping motions, we documented the time it took each ramp to raise a total of four inches from its initial starting height. After only seven total pump motions, the Copperloy ramp is completed in just 11 seconds.

Our efficiently re-designed one-cylinder hydraulic system uses less pressure to lift the ramp than traditional ramps, allowing for a quick, pain-free user experience. In comparison, Copperloy's raise time is over two-and-a-half times faster than the industry average ramp.

While we wait for the caster wheel ramp to complete, let’s go through a few more features. A variety of conditions and general wear can cause a traditional two-cylinder pump to raise unevenly. But because our hydraulic system contains only one centrally located cylinder, you can guarantee our ramp will raise evenly level every time.

We also relocated the pump to the outside of the ramp frame, allowing easy access at all times. Copperloy's solid-filled pneumatic tires have an 18-inch diameter and can easily withstand rugged terrain that other models simply cannot handle. With solid-filled tires, you never have to worry about potential punctures or problems with air pressure. However, although solid-filled, our wheel material still has comparable cushion to traditional air-filled tires, truly allowing for the best of both worlds.

With our redesigned positioning sleeve, maneuverability has been taken to a whole new level. Our raised design allows for a complete 180-degree spectrum of mobility, which is not safely plausible with common industry sleeves. The rotation occurs on the sleeve itself instead of on the ramp connection, reducing wear on the actual ramp structure. With three points of connection instead of one, the likelihood of the sleeve disconnecting during irregular maneuvers is greatly reduced.
