LINDOSO 🇵🇹 Drone Aerial 4K | Peneda-Gerês PORTUGAL

Lindoso is a very attractive village in the north of Portugal at the border with Spain. The village is located in the Peneda-Geres National Park (Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês ). Lindoso has an impressive medieval castle to defend Portugal against Spanish invasions and attacks. The 'Castelo do Lindoso' was constructed in 1278. The village is also known for the medieval grain silos, which were built out of limestone like little boxes. It is a typical design for the medieval villages to store their grain in a safe and dry place above the ground. The village has also a lake with a dam where they produce electricity. Lindoso has 500 residents and is part of the municipality of Ponte da Barca.
