Join me for a mosaic art talk and studio tour with Kate Kerrigan. Kate has recently launched her first course at Mosaic Arts Online, "Less is More: The Effects of Light on Mosaic Compositions". I am thrilled to sit down with Kate and learn more about her unique approach to creating mosaic art with very little to no color. Kate's background in photography leans into her mosaic art as she uses light as an element in many of her mosaic art pieces. Kate will give us a tour of her studio and learn more about her very ambitious and creative project "Pieceing us Together" which is on display now at CEPA Gallery in Buffalo, NY for the Mosaic Arts and Glass International Exhibit.

Kate has been a mosaic artist for 23 years. She studied classic techniques and materials in Venice and Ravenna, Italy. She has been awarded, recognized and published on national and international levels and is widely known in the mosaic community. Her work has been shown in Italy and Turkey, and throughout the United States. She actively shows in Oregon and California. A Wisconsin native, Kate currently produces at her studio in Redmond, OR.
