Top military officials testified Tuesday before the Senate Armed Service Committee on the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Mark Milley, and the head of U.S. Central Command, General Frank McKenzie, will appear before lawmakers for the first time since the U.S. left Afghanistan at the end of August.
