We all have that one console we grew up with that we loved to death. Some might even say it made our childhood. This video is about the exact opposite of that! I WISH I grew up with the PlayStation 2. Today I explore a bunch of titles for the PlayStation 2, a console I never grew up with. The PS2 is not only the best selling console of all time, but also widely considered one of the best consoles, period. I'm feeling left out here since I didn't get to experience such an impactful part of my own generation, so let's see what all the hullabaloo's about.

I sample games of several games from several genres in this video. I cover platformers like Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, and Sly Cooper. I delve into JRPGs including Final Fantasy X, Dragon Quest VIII, and Persona 3. I go on a nostalgia trip with Kingdom Hearts. I show off how style IS substance with Devil May Cry. And I even explore some relaxing games in Katamari Damacy and Ape Escape 2. Some of which might even lean a bit on the weird side... looking at you Chulip. O_O
