How To Fix A Frozen Computer

1. Open File Explorer.
2. From the left side panel, click on This PC and select the C drive from the right side.
3. Right-click on the C drive, and then click on the Properties.
4. Click on the Tools tab, and then click on the Check button.
5. Click on the Scan Drive from the Error-checking box.
6. This action will start checking any error in your hard drive, and if the scan detects any error then it will give you the report.
7. After completing the scan process, close all the opened windows.
8. Click on the Windows search bar at the bottom left, and type disk cleanup.
9. Click on the Disk Cleanup app to open it.
10. Select all checkboxes in the Files to delete section, and click on the Clean up system files button.
11. Now, Click on the OK button, and then click on the Delete Files button.
12. This will clear the Temporary files from your PC which may be causing of Frozen Computer.
13. Open TaskManager from the bottom taskbar, and see if any application is freezing or not responding.
14. Select the not responding process and click on the End Task button to close it.
15. Be careful, if you are not well aware that which process is doing what in the Task Manager then please don’t close it as it may impact your Windows performance.
16. If you Restart your computer, sometimes it may solve the problem of a Frozen computer.
17. Make sure the latest Windows Updates are installed on your PC, if not then Update it.
