🔍 Episode Overview:
On January 8, 2024, around 9:23 PM, Officer Blake Demeter arrived at a crash scene. A 2019 Volkswagen Jetta had crashed on Harbourton Rocktown Road. Other people were helping the driver out of the damaged car. Airbags had deployed. The driver was Caroline.

Officers noticed signs she was drunk. Caroline told Officer Demeter she passed out before the crash. She blamed icy roads. Paramedics checked Caroline, but she refused more help. Officers suspected she was impaired. They asked her to do tests. Caroline refused the tests. Police arrested her for drunk driving.

The car was taken to an impound lot for 12 hours. Officer Demeter took Caroline to the police station. There, she heard a driver's statement. Caroline agreed to breathe into a machine. The test showed a blood alcohol level of 0.167%. This was almost double the legal limit. A responsible adult picked her up after signing paperwork. Caroline faced charges for drunk driving and careless driving.

Court documents from April 9, 2024, show Caroline admitted to drunk driving. The reckless driving charge was reduced. As a result, Caroline spent 12 hours at a drunk driver program. She also had to use an ignition interlock device for five months. She paid $640 in fines. The other charge was dropped.
