Night time.Many film fans behind cordons. Waving and smiling at camera. Posters of the film cover railings. 'Political' placard show Hugh Grant's character- 'Vote For Hugh'. Justin Wilkes- Capitol Radio DJ can be heard introducing the events. Beyonce's hit song 'Crazy in Love' is played as camera pans the red carpet.
More film posters of hearts and a ' We Love (Actually) Colin Firth' placard.
Interview with Thomas Sangster who plays 'Sam' In the film. He talks about it being a feel-good movie 'that no-one can hate'.
Interview with Andrew Lincoln. He comments on the amount of fans. He says that when he read the script he really wanted to be part of it. That the whole 'sentiment' of the film is a great one, as he believes 'the world is in need of a bit of a cuddle at the moment'. He also talks about all the stories that link in the movie and all ' the different qualities of love'. He says that people will be able to relate to something in each of the stories. That it has 'humanity' and 'humour' in it and is a 'complete movie'.
Kris Marshall is interviewed. He is impressed with the turnout- trying to make a joke about getting some drinks out to 'have a bit of a party'.
Colin Firth walks along the cordon meeting fans and signing autographs.
Bill Nighy walks along red carpet accompanied by several models in Santa Claus outfits.
Hugh Grant is interviewed. He says that people who have seen the film, ' do like it a hell of a lot'. He reflects on how it is generally 'unfashionable' to make a 'positive' film, but that 'the time is right' for a movie like this. He makes a dry joke that 'as it is so unusual' a movie, it is actually quite 'avant-garde' and therefore may be his first 'cutting-edge' film.
Alan Rickman is interviewed. He makes a corny joke about the amount of fans present being '...lovely actually'. He talks about how there is something for everybody to enjoy in this movie; that it is 'like a bag of sweets'. Lastly joking about how it is the'alcohol' that he is looking forward to.
Colin Firth interviewed again. Saying the movie is a 'feel-good christmas escape film'; that it makes you laugh, not cry and 'gives you a lift'.
Keira Knightly is interviewed. She talks about being nervous. She says as it is a Richard Curtis film she expects it to 'have lots of laughs and be extremely romantic'.
Emma Thompson is interviewed. She talks about the Colin Firth's fans and signing autographs. She believes that Richard (Curtis) 'likes the British more than we like ourselves'and has therefore with this film 'improved our self-image'.
Richard Curtis is interviewed. He thinks the film makes you feel that 'life is full of good things'. He talks about the film's song and its video.
Laura Linney is interviewed. She says it is 'an irresistible movie'.
Martine McCutcheon is interviewed. She talks about the crowds, about love and about the talent and writing of Richard Curtis.
