Hey everybody, just in time for Christmas, the perfect gift for your lil helper: a cat pack.

This past summer when we were in California, we saw a lady carrying a young cat in a backpack down the sidewalk near the beach. My son fell in love with the idea and my better half obliged his whims and got him one for Christmas this year.

The cat backpack carrier has an expandable back panel that allows the backpack to convert into a roomier vented play area for the kitty and keeps it from running away in busy places like the beach, a park, camping, or even a walk downtown. A larger cat can fit in it, but a younger cat might find it more roomy and be more open to the idea of going for a backpack stroll on its owner’s back. Not to discriminate, but this backpack could also accommodate very small dogs that are about the size of a cat. The specs indicate the pack can accommodate animals up to 22 lbs (9.98kg), but recommends it as “suitable” for cats from 0 to 13 lbs and puppies from 0 to 10 lbs.

The back panel is a clear plastic bubble with three vent holes in it. The side doors and expandable back region are mesh material.
