Ice Age Trail Documentary

Описание к видео Ice Age Trail Documentary

The Ice Age Trail is one of national scenic trails in the United States that will run twelve hundred miles through Wisconsin once completed. It follows the end of last glacier called the Wisconsin Glacier which came across the land about ten thousand years ago and stopped in Wisconsin. The trail is only about half complete right now. About five or six hundred miles are available for hiking on the ground. While the trail is primarily administered by the National Park Service, it is also constructed and maintained by numerous private and public agencies including, most notably, the Ice Age Trail Alliance, a non-profit member- and volunteer-based organization with 21 local chapters.
