We got more snow and it has gotten significantly colder, like below 0 degrees outside. With it being so cold outside the animals need some good hay to keep their energy up in order to stay warm so we are cutting into the hay bales we had wrapped this past summer. Since it is below 0 degrees Penelope (our silkie chicken) has decided to hatch some chicks out and with it being so cold we are starting the wood stove up so Daddy explains what it takes to get it started.
