Paving, a temporary pathway to Oregon Dairy and a big furry visitor are featured in site manager Jon Metzger’s update on EGStoltzfus Commercial Construction’s senior living project at Landis Homes.

In his latest update, Jon walks us through the work on the 35 homes in The Gardens , the east extension of Landis Homes. Since the last update, the EGS has paved half the site and framed out one structure with two more underway. Initial plans call for the homes to be ready for occupancy in the third quarter of the year.

In addition to capitalizing on the natural beauty of the wetlands and farms surrounding Landis Homes, the project preserves the historic heritage of the site. Also on the site is Meadowview Health, part of the Penn Medicine LG Health networks, a medical clinic EGStoltzfus Commercial Construction renovated in a 1,600-square-foot home built in 1604.
