Here are 3 reasons why it's likely the stock market is about to have a correction.
1. The second month of the year after an election is typically bearish for the S&P 500.
2. Insiders are selling at the fastest pace in over 30 years. This usually leads to a general sell off in the broad market.
3. Technical resistance around this level.

Keep in mind the actual verdict is still out. But if the SPY goes below 602 then at least in the short term the market is likely to head lower. Overall the longer term trend, monthly, is still bullish. Which means any pullback we do end up seeing will likely be met with buy demand pushing stocks higher for the rest of the year.
