While Jaguar hasn't produced a proper sports car since the E-Type 50 years ago the F-Type is a suitable successor to family of championship winning race cars. The 2014 Jaguar F-Type V8 S is the baddest of all F-Types, sitting atop the range at $92,000 powered by a 5.0 Liter Supercharged V8 that produces 495 HP and allows the 8 speed Quickshift transmission to take the all new open air sports car to 60 MPH in around 4 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 186 MPH or an even 300 KPH.

Jaguar will ship the F-Type in three distinct variants, the standard V6 has an incredible exhaust tone, the V6 S adds a bit more boost to the supercharged six cylinder, while the V8 S gets nearly 500 HP in an agile, lightweight drop top sports coupe. Jaguar set out to build a proper sports car unlike anything else in the performance luxury market, Sir William Lyons would be mighty proud of their work.
