LUMA Arles includes The Tower designed by architect Frank Gehry; which will house archives, exhibition and presentation spaces, seminar rooms and a café / restaurant.

The building includes a 8,700 square-metre lower level (archives, storage facilities, and programming) and also the Arts Resource Centre with its plaza-level, glass- enclosed indoor-outdoor space which together total 7,000 square-metre.

LUMA Arles also encompasses six historic, large-scale industrial buildings, of which five are being revitalised by Selldorf Architects for presentations, installations, exhibitions and artists’ residencies.
One historic building, the Grande Halle, was renovated in 2007 by the initiative of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. The entire campus will be set within a public park designed by landscape architect Bas Smets.
