TekStream, with AWS and Splunk, created a public/private partnership to serve LSU and the State of Louisiana with a Shared Security Operations Center (SOC). This best-in-class MDR solution creates the next generation of cybersecurity talent and equips students with real-time experience while working in direct service to the state. The LSU SOC is the first node in an emerging statewide cybersecurity platform powered by the Louisiana Optical Network Infrastructure, or LONI, the state’s research and development network that connects Louisiana’s universities and community and technical colleges. By extending the SOC through LONI, the program incorporates scalability to extend cyber defense capabilities and benefits to smaller colleges and universities across Louisiana. TekStream developed a unique and flexible pricing model to fit this bold cyber defense initiative. A university-wide agreement offers volume purchasing discounts and incentivizes students to hone their cyber protection skills.
