Tear Down - Suzuki GS550 Cafe Racer Build (Part 1)

The Urban Monk begins tear down of his 1978 Suzuki GS550. This is the first in a series of ongoing videos detailing a custom build of a cafe racer. FargoMonk has restored 70s era Japanese motorcycles before, but this is his first attempt at a custom cafe racer build.

There will be loads of good information covered in this series for both custom builders working on a Suzuki GS as well as restorers working on an original GS. Builders of other cafe racers such as CB750, GS750 CB550, KZ650 and KZ1000 and other UJMs will find benefit. Also, anyone working with a bike with Mikuni carbs should find this useful.
