Seachem Tidal aquarium filter long term review - How does it hold up against the AquaClear?

I've been using the Tidal filters from Seachem/Sicce for about 3 years now. After this long, do they still hold up well to the AquaClear series of hang on back aquarium filters? Which is best for your fish tank?
