An injury scare hit the English side just before the tour as Lancashire seamer Saqib Mahmood was ruled out due to a knee injury which requires minor surgery. Scotland and Hampshire fast bowler Scott Currie who has received his maiden call-up has been named as Mahmood's replacement. On the flip side the hosts are underprepared as per their skipper.
