Cyril O’Reilly grew up in Claremont California. Both of his parents were involved in the Civil Rights movement of the 60's. When Cyril was a ten his father was appointed Deputy Director for the Peace Corps. Cyril and his family moved to Somalia Africa. When Cyril returned to the States he was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After graduating from the Academy he studied with Stella Adler and co-founded the theatre group: The Frances Farmer Memorial Players, and later won several awards for the west coast premiere of Lanford Wilson’s “Balm In Gilead.” He starred on stage in the west coast premiere of Sam Shepard’s “A Lie Of The Mind” opposite Holly Hunter and Amy Madigan at the Mark Taper Forum. A few of Mr. O’Reilly’s credits include such films as “Navy Seals” with Charlie Sheen and Bill Paxton and the very successful “Porky’s” franchise for 20th Century Fox. He also starred as the lead in the remake of “Splendor In The Grass” for NBCUniversal with Melissa Gilbert, Eve Marie Saint and Michelle Pfieffer. He has been noted for performances as the young Bugsy Siegel in the “Gangster Chronicles” also for NBC Universal, and the lead in “Air Rage” opposite Ice-T for Paramount. Mr. O’Reilly has guest starred in such television series such as “Without a Trace,” “ER,” and “X-Files” "M*A*S*H," and "Murder She Wrote." He lives in LA with his daughter, Daisy O'Reilly.
