You have watched my videos, you have hit the like button, you shared the videos with your friends and you subscribed! All 100,000+ of you! I am amazed that there are so many of you and I thank you so very much.

Before I started this YouTube channel I didn’t know anything about making videos. Honestly, the only youtube videos I watched consistently were videos about silly dogs and cats or how to cook something or fix something. I didn’t know how to do any of it. But a few people convinced me to give it a go, so I did! I had to do some research and educated myself by watching videos on how to make videos. I almost gave up a few times when it seemed too much or it seemed too hard. But I stuck it out and learned a lot in the process.

I know I couldn’t do any of this without the support and encouragement from my family and staff at the shop. They are the best! They keep me moving forward and make the store a fun and inviting place to be, and I appreciate that so much!

I also know I couldn’t do any of this without you! I just want you to know how much I appreciate all your comments, encouragement, and stories. I have read all of them and love hearing how the videos are inspiring you, entertaining you, teaching you new skills and projects, or just being your sewing buddy to keep you company while you are in your happy place. (And occasionally putting you to sleep but I've been assured that it's a good thing! HA!)

The Quilted Forest is located in Forest City, IA. Our phone number is 641-585-2438. We stock patterns, books, notions, batting, and fabric for sewing and quilting projects. Our shop is filled with finished quilts and smaller projects to provide plenty of inspiration. We are open Monday - Friday, 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. We are in the central time zone.
