Taming Our Trauma is a model project that aims to respond to the most urgent topics of the dance profession today. It focuses on the development of a highly creative, inclusive, anti-abusive choreographic working environment, implementing trauma-informed approaches into a dance organization.

With the involvement of a clinical psychologist, a psychotherapist, a psychologist, and a neuroscientist/leadership coach, special communication structures have been developed for a group of dance artists and a choreographer, Andreas Heise (www.andreas-heise.com) to embody ideas, create choreography, process traumas, rehabilitate their art after the pandemic measures in a safe space.
