After sharing my dairy-free coconut yogurt step-by-step tutorial, many of you asked for a follow-up on how I refill it using the original starter.

So here it is. Welcome to Coconut Yogurt 2.0: thicker and Greek-style. I eat this 3–4 times a week to support digestion, immunity, healthy skin and inflammation — and honestly, it’s become a non-negotiable in my healing routine.

This is the probiotic-rich coconut yogurt that helped heal my gut — and now I make a new batch every single week. 🥥✨ It takes a few minutes to do and is easy.
In this video, I show you exactly how I refill my coconut yogurt using the original probiotic strains from Dr. William Davis’ Super But Book (L. reuteri, L. gasseri, B. coagulans). It simply works.

Healing Coconut Yogurt 2.0 — Refill Instructions:
Scoop your coconut milk:
Open 2 cans of full-fat organic coconut milk (no gums if possible — guar gum is okay).
Scoop out the thick coconut cream, leaving behind most of the water if you want that Greek-style texture.
Add ingredients to a pot:
2 tbsp of your choice of sugar (I use cane sugar, but coconut sugar or jaggery also work)
2 tbsp of starch (I use potato starch — you can also try green banana flour or other starches with prebiotics fibers and inulin)
Heat gently:
Warm the mixture in a pot to 180°F, whisking well to combine everything smoothly.
Transfer to a jar:
Pour into a clean 32 oz sterilized jar, and let it cool for about 20 minutes, or until the mixture reaches 100°F. Use a food thermostat.
Add your starter:
Once cool to 100°F, stir in 2 tbsp of yogurt from your last batch. Always save 2 tbsp in the fridge for your next batch. This acts as your probiotic-rich starter culture.
Ferment:
Seal the jar tightly and place in your yogurt maker or Instant Pot set to 100°F. Let it be. Let it ferment for 48 hours.
Refrigerate and enjoy:
Natural separation is normal — just shake or stir before serving. Store in the fridge and enjoy ½ cup per day, as suggested by Dr. Davis.
