We explored hidden beaches of South Goa.

COLA Beach and KAKOLEM Beach

**INFORMATION**:

1) COLA beach is famous for it's beautiful lagoon and Kayaking activity. Swimming is safe in lagoon.
You can find options for stay at Cola Beach and also many options of shacks at the beach.

2) KAKOLEM beach , I don't have enough words to describe it's beauty and the sunset I witnessed. It's a beach with fresh water streams from two sides which later merges into the sea.It's breathtaking.

It's a must visit for people who like to explore offbeat places. But reaching Kakolem beach could be tricky also so , keep asking for the way from the locals. (watch vlog for full information).

As it's a secluded beach so there's hardly any option to stay and 1-2 shacks at the beach.


3) We visited South of Goa in the first week of November, 2023 but uploaded this video in October ,2024


**RECOMMENDATIONS**:

1) You'll require a separate day for exploring Cola and Kakolem beach as both the beaches require some hiking .

2) Wear shoes , carry a water bottle and some snacks like chocolate , biscuits or fruits.

3) Enjoy the sunset at Kakolem Beach ,( it's serene and so picture perfect) BUT also leave before it starts getting dark because you have to now hike back those stairs, it'll take some time.

4) People with knee issues should avoid these two beaches as there's a lot of stairs to hike. But if you can manage then enjoy.👍
