5-27-2024 : Lower Falls Via Bells Canyon Trail was one of those hikes that start very close to the city and becomes better as you get closer to the waterfall. Trail was narrow for the most part which was a little problematic once it became crowded. As soon as you began the hike, it was a steady incline and becomes somewhat flat. Just before the waterfall; there was an extremely steep and rocky climb to the top. Easy to get wet, the closer you are to the waterfall.

Very limited parking at the Bells Canyon Granite Trailhead. There are additional parking adjacent at the Bells Canyon Preservation Trailhead but this takes a slightly different starting point. Otherwise, there was a Bells Canyon Overflow Parking further in.

Total ~4.8 miles; ~3 hours to complete.
