in this week's segment of "Workout of the Week," trainer Colby Vanderweg demonstrated how to effectively exercise in small spaces, such as a wellness room or hotel room, without the need for a gym membership. Vanderweg emphasized the importance of utilizing available spaces, whether at home or while traveling, to maintain fitness routines.

"You don't have to go to the gym," Vanderweg said. "If you can't afford a membership, you can use your home space, your workspace, or even your hotel room."

During the demonstration, Vanderweg showcased exercises that require minimal space and no equipment. He explained a simple yet effective workout involving knee raises and leg raises, which engage core muscles and can be performed using a chair or ottoman for support.

"When you're drawing this up, you want to engage those muscles, your core," Vanderweg said. "You'll feel that in your hamstrings as well as your core."

Vanderweg also highlighted the additional benefits of these exercises, noting that they engage triceps and shoulder muscles, providing a comprehensive workout without the need for extensive equipment or space.

"It's a really good workout that doesn't take any space or any equipment," he said.
