Ffestiniog Railway Steam 150 - '1863 and all that' event.

We start the day at Porthmadog to witness the lineup that included Prince , Palmerston , Princess and Welsh Pony on display. Also at Porthmadog Talliessin arrived with a quarrymans train and Merrdin Emrys departed with the victorian train.

Then it was off to Penryn to see Linda and Blanche pass through with a service train. The next few shots were taken along a puplic footpath between Penryn and Rhiw Goch. Next we paid a visit to Tan-y-bwlch to see Linda and Blanche arrive with the up service train, Talliessin arrive with the quarrymans train and Prince depart with the slate train.Also the gravity slate train passed as we were there. Finally we ended up where we started off to see Prince and Palmerston arrive with the slate train.

A big thanks to the Ffestiniog Railway for such an enjoyable event and day out and we shall certainly be visiting for another gala in the future.
