The Insect Club was a performance art collective with a rotating cast of contributors and mediums.

Audio compositions strove to break new ground while using vintage equipment, anchoring the core sonic qualities in the past while smashing preconceived notions about their potential output. Improvisation was a fundamental aspect in all modes. Deconstruction of form, extended melodies and the willingness to experiment were key components in the cultivation of ideas.

The Insect Club aspired to bridge the gap between the first psychedelic movement and present day with a desire to document and bring awareness to the unheard, unseen and unknown.

The final volume in this series of anthologies depicts The Insect Club at the height of its creative output. These sessions were recorded in Westhampton between 2016 - 2018 and in Bellevue from 2018 until dissolution in 2020. Nearly half of the songs on this album are performed together by two people. Though numbers grew fewer in the ranks of The Club, those remaining began taking on extended roles during the recording process. Automated and computerized counterparts became a more integral component in composing new material as time progressed. These changes were embraced, crossing further into uncharted territory in hot pursuit of that sound. The further out The Club dared to venture, the more it felt like the beginning.
