Highlights of Creative Industry Summit 2024: Celebrating 10 Years of Impact and New Horizons

Cairo, Egypt – October 24, 2024 – The Creative Industry Summit 2024 celebrated its 10th anniversary on October 21-22 at Cairo Business Park, with strategic partner Misr Italia Properties. Under the theme Impact Beyond Years, the event gathered over 170 speakers and thousands of attendees from the MENA region and beyond, highlighting the vital role of creativity in transforming industries such as media, technology, AI, real estate, and entertainment.

Key announcements included a partnership between Mai Salama, Co-founder of the Creative Industry Summit, and Rayan Altuaymi, CEO of Foaj Group, to expand their presence in Saudi Arabia, strengthening the region's creative landscape. Additionally, a groundbreaking venture with Misr Italia Properties was unveiled: co-branded Creative Industry Summit offices within Radical 1, their New Administrative Capital project, poised to elevate Egypt’s creative economy.

“The Creative Industry Summit has surpassed expectations over the past decade. Our new partnerships prove how much more we can achieve together,” said Mai Salama. Misr Italia’s CEO, Karim El Assal, added, “We’re creating a space where creativity inspires innovation and connections.”

Renowned speakers included Ali Ali, cofounder of Good People Films; Amr ElKady, CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Authority; and Hala Hegazi, COO of Nile Radio Productions. Key sessions addressed themes like the creative-business link, real estate's creative evolution, and Cairo’s bold design future. Workshops, such as “Brief, Strategy, and AI” by Mohamed Abbas of Matter and “Introduction to Car Design” by Abdulaziz A. Alobaid, offered attendees practical skills.
