Crochet sweater for boys and girls, Alpine Crochet Stitch, Crochet for Baby

My name is Sara welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today's crochet video tutorial I will show you this crochet sweater for boys from 5 to 6 years. You can also make this crochet pullover sweater for girls in the exact same way and you can make this crochet sweater smaller or bigger. See below.
For this crochet sweater for boys and girls I used a variation of the crochet alpine stitch and it’s for 5-6 yrs size. I used I love this yarn in grey and navy blue tweed. I used 1 skein in grey and 2 skeins in navy blue for a total of 412 grams of yarn. I also used a 5.5 mm and a 5mm hook.

This Crochet Alpine stitch crochet sweater for boys and girls or CROCHET JERSEY SWEATER can be made smaller or bigger from 3 years up to 10 years by simply using a smaller or bigger hook. Just remember that these sizes are not exact since not all children are the same size. See below.

2-3 years use a 4mm hook with Aran or #4 yarn
3-4 years use a 4.5mm hook with Aran or #4 yarn
4-5 years use a 5mm hook with Aran or #4 yarn
5-6 years use a 5.5mm hook with Aran or #4 yarn
6-7 years use a 6mm hook with Aran or #4 yarn
7-8 years use a 6.5mm hook with Aran or #4 yarn
9-10 years use a 6.5mm hook with bulky or chunky #5 yarn
