Project Title: Automated GST Invoicing & Tally Prime Integration System
1. Project Overview This project is a comprehensive Python-based desktop application designed to streamline the billing and compliance workflow for Chartered Accountants and tax practitioners. It bridges the gap between invoice generation, statutory compliance (GST), accounting software (Tally Prime), and client communication (WhatsApp/Email). The system eliminates manual data entry errors and significantly reduces the time required to process B2B and B2C transactions.

2. Key Features & Capabilities

Cost-Effective WhatsApp Automation (No API Required):

The system utilizes a custom-built browser automation engine to interact directly with WhatsApp Web.

Zero Cost: Unlike standard commercial solutions, this tool does not require the paid WhatsApp Business API. It operates entirely free of cost, incurring no per-message charges or subscription fees, making it highly economical for small to mid-sized firms.

Smart GSTIN Verification & Data Fetching:

The system connects directly to the GST Portal backend. Users simply enter a GSTIN, and the application solves the Captcha to fetch real-time data including the Legal Name, Trade Name, and Address.

It employs a "Deep Search" algorithm to parse complex address structures from the GST portal's JSON response, ensuring accurate client details are captured even when data formats vary.

Professional Invoice Generation:

Generates statutory-compliant Tax Invoices and Bills of Supply in PDF format using the ReportLab library.

Features: Automatic tax calculation (CGST/SGST/IGST) based on Place of Supply, dynamic conversion of amounts to words, and inclusion of Bank Details and Authorized Signatory fields.

UPI Integration: Dynamically generates and embeds a UPI QR code on the invoice for instant payments.

Seamless Tally Prime Integration (XML Injection):

The application communicates directly with Tally Prime via HTTP/XML.

Master Management: Automatically creates or updates (Upsert logic) Ledger Masters in Tally, ensuring client names, addresses, and GST registration types are synchronized without manual typing.

Voucher Entry: Automatically posts Sales Vouchers into Tally with correct tax ledgers and amounts, preventing mismatch errors between the invoice issued and the books of accounts.

Compliance Logic:

Automatically detects "Unregistered Sellers" and switches to "Bill of Supply" format with 0% tax, hiding tax columns to ensure compliance with GST laws.

Validates phone numbers and email formats before processing.
