Project Description:
The prevalence of chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus and heart diseases is accelerating globally, which will approximately account for 73% of all deaths by 2020, according to WHO. Care for patients entails structured learning for caregivers to enhance patient experiences, as well as, to minimise human errors and clinical risks.
This project aims to develop an e-learning platform for caregivers with gamification concepts. It will help to motivate people by adaptation of motivational and social design in structured learning programmes for reshaping clinical engagement. The integration and customisation of gamification elements will be established through the smart use of study cases.
