Today I’m reviewing the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago, where I scored it a 156 out of 200 — that’s a solid 78%. I paid $246 before taxes, so let’s break down whether it was worth it.

🛁 Bathroom – 37/50
Clean, good towels, decent amenities, and solid water pressure. Nothing flashy, but dependable.

🛏️ Bedroom & Living Area – 78/90
This was the highlight. Super comfortable bed, spotless mattress, great workspace, plenty of outlets, and an awesome couch setup. Carpet was a little dated, but overall the room felt comfortable and functional. Plus, the view gets an 8/10 — can’t beat Chicago scenery.

🏨 Hotel Grounds & Lobby – 41/60
The fitness center is fine, pool/outdoor area is average, and the sitting area could use a refresh. But the front staff was great, and the property feels safe. Value for the price? An 8/10.

💡 Tips:
This is one of my favorite locations in Chicago — steps from the Hancock Building, shops, restaurants, and easy Lake Shore access. The hotel is a bit older, but if you find a good rate, it’s absolutely worth it.
