This 5km section of the Bruce Trail in Ancaster & Dundas is always a gorgeous hike! I started near the Ancaster Mill and hiked to the beautiful Canterbury Falls. From there, I headed over to the Dundas Valley Conservation Area where I made stops at the Hermitage Ruins and the Trail Centre. The air was crisp, the falls leaves were vibrant, and there were a lot of chipmunks & squirrels out collecting nuts.

If you're going to be hiking regularly on the Bruce Trail, I totally recommend the Bruce Trail App (not sponsored). It's a paid app, but it is so helpful to help you figure out where you can and can't park, nearby bus stops, access points & side trails leading to the Bruce Trail, and current Trail Updates information.
