Diy how to tap 6 inch round duct into 8 inch round duct

You can't get tees at the local home center. The sheet metal shop is a long ways off. And you need a tee or you just want to make a take off the existing round ductwork. Tapping a 6 inch round duct into an 8 inch round duct.
