Dear Diary, the two families that hosted us in Mirpur were truly hospitable. Overall I found the people of Mirpur (and surrounding villages) to be very soft and warm. I felt right at home here, the main thing for me is that the locals seemed very kind and genuine. The people living in Mirpur are more or less the same Pakistanis living in the UK. I really enjoyed how I was treated. Allah humma barik.
