Patient Success Story | Treated Thalassemia Major with Bone Marrow Transplant | Dr. Sunil Bhat

Master Abdul Wazi Nasar from Sri Lanka suffered from thalassemia-major and needed blood transfusion for several years. The family wanted a permanent cure for his medical condition and bone marrow transplant was the only cure for the patient. They couldn't find a fully matched donor and had to come to India for the treatment. The patient was treated using haploidentical half matched transplantation.
