In this pediatric webinar session today, we have Dr. Rakshay Shetty who is Pediatric Intensivist at 24-bed tertiary care PICU in Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Marathahalli, Bengaluru. He was awarded a fellowship in point of care ultrasound from the American ultrasound leadership academy after completing a one-year training program. In addition to his enthusiasm in simulation, he has a keen interest in the field of point of care ultrasound, cardiopulmonary interactions and Neurointensive care. Also, we have Dr. Hema Kumar Nagappagiri, who is a Pediatric Consultant at Rainbow Children's Hospital, Currency Nagar, Vijayawada. He has completed DNB pediatrics at Rainbow institute of Child Health and Maternity Hospital, Kurnool.
In this webinar session, they have addressed the common issue of dengue shock syndrome in children. Dengue fever is a re-emerging viral disease commonly occurring in tropical and subtropical areas.
