'The Fear Engine' is a multi-media concept project from artist Andy Ross. The new featured song from the album is 'Star'.

Each of the songs on the album are matched with one of ten questions that also set the agenda for a companion documentary film also called ‘The Fear Engine’. The documentary film has had official selections for 3 global film festivals and shortlisted as ’semi finalist’ for the Festigious International Film Festival Los Angeles 2020.

Andy Ross is a musician - recording artist - film maker - composer - record producer - artist mentor - visual artist - and photographer. An unwieldy list he is hesitant to reel out. He describes 'The Fear Engine' as “a metaphor for the drivers of our unconscious fears”. It is an unusual combination of concept album and documentary film which together explore his life-long interest in trying to understand the psychologies and pathologies that drive our behaviours.
