✅ As per Sale of Goods Act, Latent defects are defects which would not be apparent on reasonable examination of goods and can be discovered only when the goods are put to use. Hence, the seller shall be responsible for latent defects.

💡However, the buyer shall be responsible for appearing or visible defects which could be easily discovered by an ordinary or prudent (ie rational) person.
