I'm creating a vibrant Leo zodiac charm that captures the sign's radiant confidence and the fiery hues of its ruling Sun: yellow, gold, and punchy orange.

We will go beyond a simple silhouette using a 2-step process with both UV and two-part epoxy resin. You'll learn a clever inlay technique starting with a thick UV gel and see the making of a spotty texture in the body using the 'dirty pour' pigment mixing method.

Silicone Leo zodiac mould
1:1 by volume epoxy resin mix
UV gel (golden, orange)
UV lamp
Mica pigment powder (yellow)
Mixing containers
Stirring stick
Silicone stick & toothpick
Zodiac themed sticker sheet
Protective work gear and a well ventilated environment

Safety Warning
Working with resin requires proper safety precautions. Always work in a well-ventilated area to minimise fume exposure. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including nitrile gloves to protect your skin and a properly fitted respirator (rated for organic vapours) when mixing or sanding resin. Always minimise resin dust by wet-sanding.
