In this video , we discuss about adoption and acknowledgement of paternity. In accordance with muslim personal law , adoption is not recognised. But acknowledgement of paternity is accepted.

One landmark judgement of supreme court held that anyone adopt child irrespect of religion he follows even though his personal law not recognised adoption in accordance with J.J. act ,2000 .

Acknowledgement of paternity means give the status of legitimate child from the status of illegitimate.

Following conditions are required to acknowledge the paternity.

(i)Father should treated his son like as legitimate
(ii) legitimate should be legal
(iii) Acknowledgement of paternity is invalid,if his marriage is void
