The Honda XL750 Transalp has a lot of great features, but it has a lot of bad ones.
The location of the air filter, like the Ducati Desert X, is perfect for preformance, but when it comes to changing and cleaning, it takes a long time.
With this DIY modification method, I can get to my Air filter in just over 10 minutes. Still not as fast as an under seat filter like the Suzuki V-Strom or Yamaha’s Tenere 700. But to keep the performance of an under tank filter, this method is second only to the Aprilia Tuareg 660.
